先說劇情概要，莫莉女士有三個孩子，有姐姐，但是她家庭不幸福，孩子們長大了，光想著吃好的穿好的，不好好工作，問她要錢。她很生氣。
尤察簡其是她的一個女畢蠢兒，每月都回來問她要電話費，不給就威脅說要報警，說出真相，當媽的很害怕很生氣，只好給她錢。
其他幾個孩子也不省心，有的游手好閑不務正業，有的只想買名貴衣服，又不好好工作掙錢，光想啃老。
還有的一心談戀愛，結果當媽的看不上她男朋友，嫌他窮酸。
總之，莫莉的三個孩子跟老媽關系都很僵。
莫莉其實獨居，她的老公去年出車禍死了，她還有個生病的姐姐，姐妹倆關系也不和。
有一天晚上，孩子們都回到莫莉這里聚會吃晚餐，但是孩子們又問她要錢，說要她把老房子賣了，沒必要住那么大房子，住個小點的，換點錢，改善一下家庭條件。
莫莉很生氣，跟孩子們大吵了一家，上樓睡覺，結果第二天，她死了。
